Before joining Massive, I did a Master of Finance program at MIT, where I focused on predictive analytics and machine learning applications in various fields. Prior to that, I co-founded two start-ups in the video games industry, one of which was successfully acquired after breaking-even.

Traditional player-segmentations identify groups based on aggregated counts of player actions, representing players’ behavior as a list of disconnected features. For the game Tom Clancy’s The Division, we chose to represent users’ behavior as sequences of actions, obtaining much greater insights in the player experience.
